WHY ARE THEY TRUSTED

Inpress Precision have created a reusable medical waste collection system called Sharpak Zero, the full range of which which was evaluated in a Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) by Tunley Environmental in 2023 and compared to the Sharpak preexisting, non-reusable range. Upon analysis of the emissions, an 89% carbon saving was identified between their non-recycled plastic bin range and the new Sharpak Zero reusable range of bins over 100 uses. Even in comparison to a single use bin with a recycled content of 43%, a carbon saving of 87% is still achieved, proving that the Sharpak Zero bin is the most carbon efficient way to collect medical waste. This study also showed that per litre volume of waste, it is more carbon efficient to use larger medical waste bins even if the bin is only used once.
