MEASURE YOUR PRODUCT'S EMBODIED CARBON
EMBODIED CARBON ASSESSMENT
Our assessment calculates the total greenhouse gases emitted during a product's production, allowing you to make informed decisions and reduce your carbon impact. With Embodied Carbon Assessment, you can take actionable steps towards a more sustainable future.
UNDERSTANDING EMBODIED CARBON
- An Embodied Carbon Assessment will give you an understanding of the carbon footprint of your product and help demonstrate environmental sustainability to clients and stakeholders.
- We will provide the quantification for the carbon emissions of the manufacturing of a product.
- Three elements of data will be considered; material usage, transportation, and manufacturing processes.
MEASURE AND REDUCE YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT WITH CONFIDENCE
Our embodied carbon assessments are conducted by a team of qualified carbon reduction scientists, giving you the assurance that your product's environmental impact is accurately measured. With this knowledge, you can confidently take steps to reduce your carbon footprint and make a positive impact on the planet.

ENSURE AUTHENTICITY IN YOUR SUSTAINABILITY CLAIMS
In a world where consumers are increasingly conscious about the environmental impact of their purchases. It's more important than ever to ensure authenticity in your sustainability claims. Avoid greenwashing accusations by conducting an embodied carbon assessment and quantifying the true carbon footprint of your products. Strengthen your brand and build trust with consumers who care about the planet.
Your checklist in line with the Green Claims Code:
Accuracy: Are your claims Accurate?
Clarity: Are your claims clear and unambiguous?
Full Picture: Do your claims omit or hide information?
Meaningful: Do they only make fair and meaningful comparisons?
Evidence: Have you substantiated your claims?
Creation to Disposal: Do they consider the full lifecycle of a product?

WHAT HAPPENS IN AN EMBODIED CARBON ASSESSMENT?
In this assessment, the carbon emissions associated with the entire life cycle of a product or building are calculated and evaluated. This assessment takes into account the carbon emissions generated at various stages of the products life, including the extraction and processing of raw materials, transportation and manufacturing. This is also referred to as 'Cradle to Gate', as shown in the illustration here.
Embodied Carbon Assessments play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for carbon reduction initiatives. They help organizations understand and minimize their carbon emissions associated with their products contributing to efforts to mitigate climate change.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
An Embodied Carbon Assessment (ECA) is a method used to measure and quantify the total greenhouse gas emissions associated with the raw material production, transportation, and manufacturing/construction of a product or a building over its entire lifetime. The assessment takes into account the initial stages (Cradle-to-Gate) of a product or building’s lifecycle.
You may need an Embodied Carbon Assessment for several reasons, depending on your role and goals within a project or organization. An ECA is a valuable tool for understanding, managing, and reducing the carbon footprint of products and buildings. Whether you’re motivated by sustainability, compliance, cost savings, or market competitiveness, conducting this assessment can help you make informed decisions and contribute to a more sustainable and low-carbon future. Seek more information on the benefits of an Embodied Carbon Assessment.
An Embodied Carbon Assessment involves a systematic process to quantify and evaluate the carbon emissions associated with a product, building, or project over the lifecycle stages considered. A general overview of what steps could be involved are: Define scope and objectives, inventory data collection, emissions calculation, data normalization, impact assessment, sensitivity analysis, reporting and communication, recommendations and strategies, implementation, monitoring and verification, documentation and certification, and continuous development. Seek more information on 'How to Reduce Embodied Carbon Within Your Product.'
This assessment will help you accurately quantify the carbon footprint of your products and identify areas for improvement.
Cost: By increasing efficiency and reducing emissions during production will reduce your environmental impact and save costs
Savings: More sustainability-conscious and implementation of green sources saves more than just money.
Openness: Comprehensive analysis of the carbon footprint of your product and factoring in all Greenhouse Gases emitted in production.
Opportunity: Opening the door to new opportunities, in turn reducing your environmental impact.
